had to be in this morning at 9:30 am and cycled in with a sleet/rain mix and saw two fender benders. Only three other cyclists' tracks in the snow on the MDC bike path from Watertown all the way to Harvard Sq. after H.Sq. saw more cyclists.
Left at 2:30p and rode home with the sun breaking through the clouds for the first time in days temperature felt like it was up near 40F.
Had to be back in at 6:30p and rode back in with a colder temperature. The Boston skyline from the Cambridge side of the bike path was gorgeous on the way in.
The ride home at 11p was stunningly beautiful with a low slung pale yellow 1/2 moon sitting like a bowl on the horizon. It reflected in the still black waters of The Charles River with the footbridges mirrored back in perfect detail. Certainly set no speed records but was happy at this time of the year, when any miles ridden feel like a bonus, to have put on 43 miles of commuting today.
