Wrenchs up to 17 , big adjustable wrench, crank pullers, Pliers , wire cutters , allen keys and a couple of screw drivers should be enough.
Best advice is do one thing at a time. Strip it apart completly first and you will have a pile of parts and no bike. And stripping it is easy. Do one thing at a time and you are only ever one step away from a perfectly functioning bike.
