truth......a good book or two and the appropriate video or two or three and try it..
most everything is reversible........the best thing about it is that if it doesn't work, some help is available at the co-op.
I have a reference books around all the time.
It doesn't hurt to do a quick review of the process before you start.
Take it a step at a time.
Also, plenty of great folks here to help if you get stuck as well.
