Looks like a good plan. I use Dawn dishwashing liquid for the soap and water cleanup, since it's an excellent degreaser, good for getting oil off birds, etc. The Meguiar's Cleaner Wax is an excellent polish and gives a mirror shine. It's not overkill at all, you'll find what works best if you use all of the above. The Fuji is a nice bike, worth the effort.
