Prodotti Allara seem to go back at least into the 1950's. Have never known a launch date for the firm. They made an assortment of conventional looking chromed wire bottle carriers into the later 1970's. At that time time they introduced some new models of very different design.

Peter_B dates this model as 1983 at VB -
