Bump on an old thread, I was looking to post a review for the 45NRTH Greazy.
I've been lusting for a Greazy for a couple winters and finally got one this year. My review, it's great for mild temps (10-35F): however, for colder temps it has a flaw. Yesterday I was on a short rider (5 miles) in temps just above 0F and the brim was catching a strong wind causing added wind chill effect on my forehead... it started feeling like brain-freeze from icecream.
So for the coldest days, I'll go with a standard wool skull cap (no brim). I have an old
Smartwool beanie that I love!
I will pair that with a
45NRTH Toaster Fork and wool buff when temps get below 0F.
