I've got lot's of regular patches on tubes in my tires, have never had a problem with them. I was planning on trying Scabs myself though after I saw an ad for them, but when I researched them online the consensus seemed to be that they were temporary patches at best. Some of the posts in this thread further confirms this to me. Anyway I passed on them and continue to use regular patch kits.
