Yea this sounds like a saddle sore. Basically just a pimple from hell. Unless it grows arms or turns colors...probably nothing to worry about other than the pain and it making riding uncomfortable.
They make stuff called chamois cream to help prevent it. I had a couple over the summer and started using my daughters diaper rash cream. Seemed to help

Right, kind of like a pimple. I always thought a saddle sore was due to sores arising from abrasion and this is presumably from a blocked pore. I've had one for several years now that tends to swell some when riding a lot. Recently got a pimple like knot right beside it. I always use chamois cream to lessen the friction.
