If you want to stealth camp your probably trying to hide in the trees anyway so a freestanding tent might not be the best idea.
I strongly second this recommendation. Only got one last year and wished I'd had it for other cycle tours. Light in weight, takes some getting used to, you'll need a pad in cold weather but definitely the choice for the ninja tourist.
