if like the green Magura, that's abrasive, ceramic brake track rims hold up , common ones dont.

I used the green Magura on my HS33 brakes and Mavic hard anodized (CD) rims ,

2 wet down hill stops scoured through the hard surface anodizing, improving the braking,

then I put the regular black compound on.

now I use the salmon.. I think Kool Stop Molds the salmon compound pads for the German Company,
maybe they supply them with the 4 they offer..
