Does anyone have experience with buying a bicycle from Alibaba.com?

It's not the purchase process I'm worried about, that is straightforward, kinda like ebay. But, once the bike box arrives to the (US) port, what is the pick up process? Will someone call me to tell me the shipment is here? Do I need to find a customs broker to clear customs with the box? Do I need to register as an importer of goods or some such thing?
