Hello, I just pick up an Apex, not original condition. I had the same bike when new, may even be the same exact bike. I would like to make it a clone of my old bike so I need a bit of info from current or past owners. The only info I can find on line is catalog of 1988 model and it is a bit different than mine.


My new purchase has spare spoke chain stay protector, under chain stay brake mount, double water bottle on down tube, a single white color head badge decal. It is single color mint green.

Did this and my bike in 1986 (?) have:


Roller cam brakes ? front and rear? Manufacture was ?


Was it 5 or 6 speed? I remember for sure it was friction shift.


Was it Uniglide or freewheel?
