Anybody have any experience with their personal (not in a group) insurance? Does each bike need to get insured separately?

I was just reading through a thread here related to accidents and it got me thinking about insurance. I've switched to taking my bike to work instead of a car, so it might be prudent to at least consider it.

My bikes aren't worth much, so I don't really care about replacement costs. I'm more concerned about injuries and liability.
