I'm sure it's worth it to some, but I don't want to pay for the extra labor that Jon T and even you said it takes to have that properly built wheel.

I've always found that the ones that stay the truest are the ones that I meticulously spent hours on stress relieving and ensuring the tension is as even as possible (generally within 10-15%).
Certainly I'd think you'd also agree with me that just because a wheel is hand built, does not mean it will not have any of the symptoms we are talking about in this thread. There are good builders and not so good builders, whether man or machine.
