This is not a one Time thing it happens regularly with shipments via USPS. Now I try and keep my ordering to UK or EU. Shipping is faster and they don't use the Money grabbing GSP.
My guess your problem actually is with the Global Shipping Program, not so much the USPS. 99% of my USPS shipments go smoothly and quickly.
Most of my USPS shipments within the USA are taking three days or less to deliver. All are either first class or priority mail.
All of my shipments show the date when the item has been picked up by the post office. Just printing the label isn't enough. Similar to above, if you want to maintain Top Rated Seller status (and get the discounts), you have one business day to get the item in the carrier's hands. One business day isn't too bad for small stuff, but on complete bikes, its pretty challenging.
