I'd go Sun Rhyno Lite XL, the XL version has a welded seam. Little more money and rarely come in complete wheel sets but worth it IMHO. The other cheap indestructible option is the Alex DX32, huge wide rim for about the same as the Rhyno Lite.
Don't know the model but vintage Araya rims came in a wide model. I have a pair that came laced to LX hubs, very similar width and weight to the Rhyno Lite.
You don't see them often but Sun also made the Mammoth rim, super over built essentially a BMX rim in 26". Very distinctive rim with a textured black plastic trim piece that covers up the eyelets. The BMX version looks sort of like an open I-beam, in the 26" version they covered up those open channels to keep dirt out.
