I used to shoot sports car racing there, and I have dreamed of doing an endurance event there (of course, right now a metric century is probably enough to kill me, so maybe "endurance" isn't the right title---particularly when talking so someone like OldTryGuy someone who considers a daily century barely sufficient.) I don't recall the roads around the track as being especially cycling-friendly---not bad, but 70 mph traffic.

27 laps of the track, though .... that would be a decent century.
3 laps around track to begin then on road to Frost Proof with not that much traffic but some not too pleasant surfacing. The 11 mile road loop isn't that bad at all, both traffic and surface AND THEN 12 HOURS AROUND THE TRACK!!!!

Kind of zoned out a bit last year entering the S turns and hit the rumble strips......ONLY ONCE thank you very much. Last year it was just a FUN THING but this year ......I'm On A Mission.......
