Only you will know for sure once you remove the bottom bracket. It’s one thing that makes french bikes from that era more challenging, particularly if you want to modify the bike. Keeping what’s on there now is not that challenging at all as the oddball stuff, as long as it is still in good condition, will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
