Yeah, especially at threshold, the difference between a one-tooth shift and a two-tooth jump can be pretty significant. In the real world, where I primarily ride solo, NBD - I end up slowing a little. It's a pain on the trainer, though, where I've abandoned a workout and didn't return until after a cassette swap.
