I don't know for sure but i don"t see why you would need new derailleurs.
1. Campagnolo changed the actuation ratio on Chorus/Record in 2015; and while Athena stayed with the 2014 and older ratio it may have changed since then.

2. Campagnolo uses weaker return springs in rear derailleurs paired with escapement mechanisms (PowerShift, Escape) which reportedly have shorter life when run with stronger return springs.
