I would, for a start, nix anything that has steel wheels, unless you really are able to rebuild the hubs with new aluminum rims.
The Raleighs likely have the British version of a 26” wheel, which not only will have steel rims but also are much larger than the common modern 26” wheels. The Suburban may also have a Schwinn-specific size of steel rim. It may be difficult to find aluminum rims for those wheel sizes.
Other than that, check whether the crank bolt circles are small enough to accept smaller chainrings. The old 52-42 chainring pairing is not very sensible unless you ride relatively flat terrain.
