I work doing research on alternative energy but we are only interested in fuel and cars. Nonfuel users just aren't interesting enough to get coverage. We have around 50 year around cycling commuters (out of nearly 900 people working here) and about 75 to 150 seasonal ones. But, then, they just ride bikes. They don't drive shiny new cars, so they aren't important.
... roger that!
No big expenditure = no big attention.
For a market driven planet, the big spenders will get the attention for buying more glorified golf carts.
I rather drive less something I like , and bike the rest, than to piss money away into the newest electric turd.
