Thanks. Good insight; had not thought of it as the original carbon fiber. I wonder if microscopically there are actual structural similarities...I'll post images once the bike is finished. At the outset is gonna run 41c Knards because i already have a pair, but will be switching to a plumper tire with tan sidewall later...
