Wow, $1,200 at REI for the ChycleOps and similar prices for the Wahoo Kickr at many on-line sites. That's some serious money. My guess is that it is not as practical in a place where you can ride outdoors much of the time in the winter. I like being able to just hop on the trike and go for a ride so I never use the standard trainer that I picked up as a discard in the trash by a nearby neighbor. This year in the Southwest there have been very few days where even the wussiest rider couldn't ride. It was in the low 70s yesterday and predicted to be in that range for the next several days. We had just a couple of days when the overnight temperatures went below freezing. Winter, where did you go?
