like [MENTION=73614]rhm[/MENTION], I've used model paints. If the area is too small for your brushes, I've used toothpicks (did up my Italvega this way)

Edit: looking at your pic, your areas are large enough to not worry about the toothpick. But, you don't want brushmarks, either. Be sure to get enough on the badge to have a good flow to your paint, more like you've poured it on, not brushed.
