The problem is that valve cores that aren’t secured are gripped by the rubber gasket in the hose or adapter.
If they are properly torqued* the gasket isn’t able to unscrew them.
*this isn’t rocket science folks, all you have to do is make them more than finger-tight.
Yeah, you must be right, otherwise Lezyne would have recommended that people use loctite on their removable valve cores. Oh wait - they did make that recommendation.
