If the headset cups recess into the frame but have a lip external to the frame, you need a zerostack for a 44mm headtube headset like the one you linked to.
The headset cups do have a lip exposed, so I've gone ahead and ordered the headset I linked to. I appreciate the confirmation, Hopefully, this is the last part I need for the XTC rebuild.
When It's finished I'll post some photos - I would still like to determine the year for the frame, if for no other reason than to satisfy my own curiosity.
