The back of my nitto rack as a flat plate facing the rear with one hole in it. I just can't figure out how to mount the light. I took off the mounting plates and i see a hole that i might be able to thread a screw into. I just didn't know if that would be secure enough and was worried about screwing into the back of the taillight...
The instructions explain it. The light comes with a screw to go through that hole in the rack and into the light. It's got to be the screw that came with that light or another reflector as it cuts the threads in the plastic as your tighten it, it has to be just right. Any new reflector will have one of those screws in it. It's one thing on bikes that is pretty universal.
