I like Chain L and accept that my chain will both smell kinda funny and will not always look as clean as some may prefer, but it seems to last a long time, result in a very quiet drivetrain, and seem to reduce chain wear very well.

I use Dumonde Tech on a few bikes also because the shop I work at uses this as our default lube. I like it pretty well--the claim is that polymers bind to the metal at friction points. It does seem to go on easily like a wet lube, be less messy than most oil lubes, and last relatively long.
