Got back out after over a week!

Felt good to get back on the mtb and spin around for 45 minutes. I got back home late, around 6pm and initially wasn't planning on biking today but I had to blow off steam! The roads were mostly dry, though the sidewalks were wet in many places. The temperature was right at the "triple point" with a 16mph nw breeze, but I never encountered ice. A few times I'd feel the tires get a little wiggly but nothing dramatic. 12 miles in 45 minutes made for a perfect outing (2.2" tires at 30psi ) and I didn't overdue it, important because we're starting up work again (I do outdoor construction) and I'm just getting over a cold.

The whole family has finally recovered from whatever virus we had, me included! I wasn't feeling the best over a week ago but went out in our blizzard anyway. Sure enough I ended up with a nasty chest cold and fatigue! Good old Vicks to the rescue! My young son is back to his energetic self, but still coughs quite a bit when laying down and sleeping.

How about the bike forum members, any problems with sickness this winter? How did you cope?
