I like a mid-weight sock from LL Bean. It's more of a longer sock for non-summer months/temps below 55F or so.

Ibex, unfortunately ceased production--it at least seemed the practices they used were a little more environmentally friendly and the material higher quality, perhaps making costs higher. I did order a 2nd balaclava from them though a while back in case I lost one and glad I did. It's more of a low to mid-weight balaclava and their products are still around online though I'm betting some is no longer able to be bought new.
