The thing with bike stuff is many parts are not noticeable by themselves. But when you add all those un-noticeable parts together you get something most will notice. Is that worth the cost or not is a different value conversation.

Chain friction has been pretty hard to measure / notice. 5W-10W is just hard, just watts add up.
