Last year for the Neucleon was 2001. First year for the Neutron was 2002. The two differences were in the spokes, "...the use of double butted areodynamic spokes on the rear ,drive side and black finishing for all spokes...".

In 2002 you could choose from Record, Chorus, Centaur, Veloce, Mirage or Xenon groups. The higher three were 10 speed at the time, with the lower gruppos being 9 speed. The Neutron cassette carrier was 9 and 10 speed compatible.
