And, I have a FG bike with 70mm drop - that is painfully easy to clip a pedal on. But yeah, on a track bike I can power through any corner..
Crit beasts are used to taking corners with certain lean angles. But they're doing it with the inside pedal up and not pedaling. But if you try to take a corner at the same speed/bike angle on a fixed gear, you're going to clip a pedal.
