BG is correct. This is a different frame than in the other thread. While it could be repaint, the underlying metal doesn't lie.. The bicycle in the other thread has cantilever brakes on the seat stays, while this one has a U-brake on the chain stays. The seat stay cap treatment is different, as are the forks.

IMO, this would have to be a "labour of love" project. The finish is fair at best and that is much of the appeal with the Italian ATBs. The cost to reproduce it properly would far outweigh the resale value.

While they were eye candy, I was never impressed with the Colnago ATBs and Italian ATBs in general. On the ones I've had first hand experience with, the workmanship was substandard. It's as if the the workers disliked having to build ATBs, instead of their beloved road models. The geometry was often odd or outdated and there were impractical aspects, such as full length brake cable housing or brake cables routed inside the top tube. The Italians just didn't seem to understand what the American consumer wanted in a high end ATB.
