If there's documentation, the celebrity (to some) connection is worth more than the intrinsic value of the bike.
If you buy it, especially from a family member, try to have them write a quick story about it (who it belonged to, where they got it, fun facts, etc.), and sign it. I do this often. It keeps the history of the item from being lost, or the item from being trashed. They often will write at the end, belonged to X .. please take care of it (and I do). Otherwise a low-end Huffy is usually worth it's value in scrap metal. Note: Huffy has been associated with some decent bikes in the past.
