A lot of energy/carbon is required to make carbon steel, as well as energy for aluminum, and I presume also various carbon/graphite technologies.

Renovo does use unique woods, I think. However, one of the big businesses is recycling urban trees/lumber, where one often finds quite unique trees that people have planted, but for one reason or another eventually require pruning or removal.
