The first time I ever saw lightning during a snowstorm was in Lubbock one April back in grad school, and every year I was in college there, we had
some kind of snow before Thanksgiving. But of course two days later it would be 70 degrees again.

I don't remember quite so much variation in Dallas, though, (maybe I forget - it's been a long time) and I wonder how variable it is in Houston or the Rio Grande valley....
