On a road bike, it's like 2 or 3 pumps to re-inflate a tire regularly, and, what...like 8 or so to inflate a new tube? First world cycling problems, I tells ya!
OP, my Lezyne floor pump is fine. Don't know how accurate the analog gauge is compared to a digital one, but I'm not losing sleep over a few PSI if it's not super accurate.
I wouldn't lose sleep over a few psi either but when I pumped my tires up with my last pump and they should have been at 115 psi. I was told by the bike shop when I got there that they were at 135 psi he only noticed because I asked about fitting larger tires and when he was inspecting it saw a bulge in the one tire so he checked the pressure and they were 20 psi higher than my pump gauge said which according to Cannondale is operating as it should.
