Hello beautiful people of interwebs. I had a bit of an eventful day today. Being at work, i had a costumer walk in and him knowing im into bicycles. We start chatting. He tells me about how 3 years ago. His daughters mother in laws brother died. He had a bicycle shop and they had to help empty it. It was not large. Most of it is gone now but he still had a bunch of spokes and nipples that he was looking to unload. Him telling me there was alot of it didnt mean alot to me. Could be alot just to him. I said id take em and he told me they were for free. He wouldnt even let me pick them up myself. 2 hours later he comes back with a friend. Carrying in bags and boxes after boxes of various. Theres alot of crap and alot of recent things. But i also found alot of possibly high end vintage nipples?

The Edco ones seem more recent. Im not sure about the material but they are crazy light. guessing aluminium?
The Bayard ones are possibly brass? Heavier. Notice the stamped B's on the bottom. Seems excessive. I like excessive.

Are these just obsolete by now? Did he dump his garbage on me? Or is this actually a good score? Let me know what you think
