Hello to all.

Just getting back into cycling after several years off (surgery, etc.) I bought a used Trek 1220 a few days ago and took it out for a little ride today - somewhere around 4 - 5 miles. It was a bike trail in varying degrees of upkeep, smooth concrete to potholed asphalt to hard dirt to loose gravel. The Forte Strada 28 x 700c tires did well in the dirt - better than I thought they would. Still, I'll likely change them to something a little tougher.

Anyway, I'll try to ride 3 - 4 times a week which should be easier now that we've entered Daylight Savings Time.
