Update on that...I didn't want to use a green garden hose because it wouldn't look right. Nor did I really want to go buy a full brown hose to just to cut a 24 inch peice off of.

But I remembered I have a 2 foot section of feeder hose that came with an old hose reel. It's brown. It'll look perfect.

I did find a 6 foot section of actual fire hose....but it's a little out of scale for the toddler bike. (Props to firemen by the way...just 6 foot of that hose is heavy. I can't imaging lugging 200 feet of that up a stairwell with flames around me. To all the firemen in the audience....you're awesome!)
