Haven't heard of the Special Tourer. Do you mean Special Road Racer (S10S).. nice, or Gran Tourer ..decent. Both models were solid bikes. Make sure the frame size is a good fit for you. Are the tires dried out? New tire, tubes and brake pads online can cost as little as $40.
