If you really want to, you could swap to a Bontrager (yeah, I know) Blendr-compatible stem. They have single- and dual-mount thingies that clip between the faceplate clamps so that you don't need any space to the sides. I plan on a dual-mount for a Garmin/Wahoo on top with a light or camera on the bottom.
