As for paint- a home job will never look as good as good as a properly done pro job.
I sprayed a frame this winter using
https://us.spray.bike and really like the results for the cost. I doubt it will hold up as well as properly applied wet paint, but itll be a low use bike and i didnt want to invest much.
Good results for pain requires significant prep work and time. The better the prep work, the better the results. The Spray.Bike products are great because tehy dont streak and run and because the spray falls well into tight corner joints.
