I have a 2002 Trek 5200. I'm getting ready to do some sanding and painting of the frame and will be removing the plastic chainstay decal. My question is regarding the oblong metallic chainstay protector located between the chiainring and the chainstay/bottom section. I'm not sure what the proper name for this piece is and I'd like to know if it is possible to purchase replacements?

Seeing as how it's a 2002 model I'm not hoping too hard that I'll be able to find one.
