Here's another pattern. People race well on the tail end of rest weeks. Like holy ****, all my best results ever come when I don't think I have enough work in my legs from the week leading up. I've done one "hard" ride (more like a light tempo) this week and other than that not gone above 200 Watts for the other 3 hours I trained.
