If anyone knows where I can buy decent tyres please say!
While looking for suppliers of various Raleigh/Sturmey Archer stuff I stumbled upon a UK seller called SJS which, it appears, stands for St John's St Cycles in Bridgewater. They list various things for three speed bikes that are not readily available from US sellers. They also have a listing of various 26 X 1-3/8 ' (650a 590 mm bsd) tires including what appears to be a tan walled Schwalbe that I've not seen anywhere else. It shows the size as 26 1-3/8 1-1/4. In the US, that size designation typically indicates a Schwinn 597mm bsd tire, but the SJS listing clearly states it's the 590mm tire. They also picture the Schwalbe Delta Cruiser which may be black tread with a whit esidewall -- picture isn't too good and might not be representative.

I've bought stuff from them (shipped to the US) including some Schwalbe Marathon Plus 650A tires. My experiences with them were good.

edit:
Chain Reaction also lists a Michelin World Tour in black over white (pretty much the same look as what's on the bike now).

I'm assuming that the wheels are 650A.
