I too carry a BFE (bicycle fire extinguisher). I got the ultra-light version from REI. A bit pricey, but oh-so-worth-it.
Unfortunately, this will probably devolve into a 20+ page for and against thread, just like disc/rim brake threads, then get locked due to the nasty bickering. Oh, well....
