I've had this PM for 4 years. It's been great. Then, the battery died... I think. I removed the crank, boxed it up and sent it to SRM for an inspection and likely batter swap. Note: SRM battery swaps are not DIY.

They returned the crank a week later with a report: All's good, updated firmware, replaced battery, tested.

I installed the crank... it was dead. Nothing. Wouldn't pair - the Wahoo Elemnt didn't see it. I tried with a Garmin - same thing.

SRM tech said to send it back in and they'd inspect it. So, removed the crank, boxed it up and sent it back to SRM.

A week later, I get a report: All's good. It was fine out of the box. They're stumped. So, they suggested they loan me a PowerControl 7 (the SRM head unit) to test. Another week goes by - they apparently had to build a PC7 (seriously) and they shipped the crank and computer.

I installed the crank. It paired with the PC7 but only registered 0 for watts and 0 for rpm/cadence. I tried a Wahoo computer - it paired and showed N/A for watts and cadence. I tried with a Garmin 810 - 0 for watts and cadence.

I asked SRM for help... crickets.

Does anyone one have any idea what could be going on? Really wish the nearest dealer wasn't 500 miles away.
